The majority of corporations with premise licenses is service providing, however more than hundred companies hold industrial character. The number of considerable joint-stock companies within the latter is nearly 30. The economy of our district is determined mainly by big and partly multinational companies. Ten percent of the largest 200 corporations of Hungary operate in our district. These companies add approximately 10% of the total GDP of Budapest.
We helped to restore the traditional car trading and dealerships in our district, so that
it could become a significant car-trading centre of the capital where nearly all types, make and brand of cars can be found. Along and around Róbert Károly Circle Road furniture stores are concentrated offering a wide range of products that meet the various and different demands and needs of the customer. Following the development of their network, more and more banks and insurance companies choose our district to establish their centre.
Corporations and individual entrepreneurs that create new jobs or contribute to or participate in the improvement of our townscape, as well as those companies that invest or contribute to environmental projects are subject to special tax allowance in our district.
